Make sure when you colour the 3D hand that the straight lines are lighter than the curved lines.
As you can see here,
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
the curved lines are coloured rather dark compared to the straight lines.

Shading the Impossible Triangle:
![Picture](/uploads/6/1/3/4/61343025/2921051.jpg?285)
When shading the impossible triangle, only shade the areas shown in this photo.
Start off your shading dark, and let your strokes become lighter until it fades to white as shown.
Do not make your shading all completely dark or all completely grey,
make sure to get lighter with each stroke.

Using a cross hatching technique, you can give an object more depth.
Using small, straight, horizontal and vertical lines, you can shade your drawing.
By blending these lines together, the shade will become more realistic.

Size:

The larger an object is drawn, the closer it will seem.
Small objects seem far away whereas larger objects look almost close enough to touch.
If you are drawing a human and would like the foot to seem closer to the viewer than the body, make the foot slightly larger in size.
